The Al-Imdaad Foundation

The Al-Imdaad Foundation

Who -What is the The Al-Imdaad Foundation, “The Al-Imdaad Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian aid relief organisation (NGO) registered in the Republic of South Africa, dedicated to providing humanitarian services in crisis and non-crisis situations to most needy orphans, widows and destitute, irrespective of race, religion, culture, creed and geographical boundary.” quote taken from their website : http://www.alimdaad.com/html/Public/About.aspx

I personally know 2 of the many amazing aid -volunteers, Qari Ziyaad Patel and his wife Ayesha.

The amount of hardships and headaches they have seen, witnessed and have experienced with their team is devastating.

I ask you my dear readers, bloggers, take time , visit their website , their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ALIMDAAD

Helping and caring for the destitute should NOT be about, religion, caste, culture, it should be because, you care, you feel their pain, their loses, and never blame them for the atrocious, vile inhuman acts carried out by others.

I wish sincerely that I one day get to help, and try and ease the suffering of thousands like Qari Ziyaad Patel ,his wife Ayesha, their team, and others.

Please share this post, it’s links, let’s start something that would make a difference.

With Peace

Stay Away From Anger..

 Stay away from Anger..

  It hurts ..Only You!

If you are right then there is no need to get angry,

And if you are wrong then you don’t have any right to get angry.

 Patience with family is love,

 Patience with others is respect.

Patience with self is confidence and Patience with Allah is faith.

Never Think Hard about the PAST, It brings Tears…

Don’t think more about the FUTURE, It brings Fear…

Live this Moment with a Smile,It brings Cheer.

Every test in our life makes us bitter or better,

Every problem comes to make us or break us,

The choice is ours whether we become victims or victorious.

Beautiful things are not always good but good things are always beautiful.

Do you know why Allah created gaps between fingers?

So that someone who is special to you comes and fills those gaps by holding your hand forever.

Happiness keeps You Sweet..But being sweet brings happiness..

A Story With A Moral- Hardships

A Story With A Moral- Hardships

There was a couple who used to go to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery and especially teacups.

One day in this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup.

They said, “May we see that? We’ve never seen one quite so beautiful.”

As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke. “You don’t understand,” it said. “I haven’t always been a teacup. There was a time when I was red and I was clay.” My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, “let me alone”, but he only smiled, “Not yet.”

“Then I was placed on a spinning wheel,” the teacup said, “and suddenly I was spun around and around and around. Stop it! I’m getting dizzy!” I screamed. But the master only nodded and said, ‘Not yet.”

Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, “Not yet.”

Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. “There, that’s better,” I said. And he brushed and painted me all over. The fumes were horrible. I thought I would gag. “Stop it, stop it!” I cried. He only nodded, “Not yet.”

Then suddenly he put me back into the oven, not like the first one. This was twice as hot and I knew I would suffocate. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. All the time I could see him through the opening nodding his head saying, “Not yet.”

Then I knew there wasn’t any hope. I would never make it. I was ready to give up. But the door opened and he took me out and placed me on the shelf. One hour later he handed me a mirror and said, “Look at yourself.”

And I did. I said, “That’s not me; that couldn’t be me. It’s beautiful. I’m beautiful.”

“I want you to remember,” then he said “I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you’d have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled. I knew it hurt and was hot and disagreeable in the oven, but if I hadn’t put you there, you would have cracked. I know the fumes were bad when I brushed and painted you all over, but if I hadn’t done that, you never would have hardened; you would not have had any color in your life. And if I hadn’t put you back in that second oven, you wouldn’t survive for very long because the hardness would not have held. Now you are a finished product. You are what I had in mind when I first began with you.”

Moral:  The MORAL that I have taken from this story into my own life is that: Allah knows what He’s doing (for all of us). He will mould us and make us, So that we may be made into a flawless piece of work — to fulfill His good, pleasing, and perfect will. So, face every hardship with a Smile! The Creator knows it all, and knows the Best!

A Story With A Moral- An Ant

A Story With A Moral- An Ant

One Sunday morning a wealthy man sat in his balcony enjoying sunshine and his coffee when a little ant caught his eye which was going from one side to the other side of the balcony carrying a big leaf several times more than its size. The man watched it for more than an hour. He saw that the ant faced many impediments during its journey, , took a diversion and then continued towards destination.

At one point the tiny creature came across a crack in the floor. It paused for a little while, analysed and then laid the huge leaf over the crack, walked over the leaf, picked the leaf on the other side then continued its journey.

The man was captivated by the cleverness of the ant, one of Allah’s tiniest creatures. The incident left the man in awe and forced him to contemplate over the miracle of Creation. It showed the greatness of the Creator. In front of his eyes there was this tiny creature of Allah, lacking in size yet equipped with a brain to analyze, contemplate, reason, explore, discover and overcome. Along with all these capabilities, the man also noticed that this tiny creature shared some human shortcomings.

The man saw about an hour later the creature had reached its destination – a tiny hole in the floor which was an entrance to its underground dwelling. And it was at this point that the ant’s shortcoming that it shared with the man was revealed. How could the ant carry into the tiny hole the large leaf that it had managed to carefully bring to the destination? It simply couldn’t!

So the tiny creature, after all the painstaking and hard work and exercising great skills, overcoming all the difficulties along the way, just left behind the large leaf and went home empty-handed.

The ant had not thought about the end before it began its challenging journey and in the end the large leaf was nothing more than a burden to it. The creature had no option, but to leave it behind to reach its destination. The man learned a great lesson that day.

Moral: Isn’t that the truth about our lives?

We worry about our family, we worry about our job, we worry about how to earn more money, we worry about where we should live – 5 bedroom or 6 bedroom house, what kind of vehicle to buy – a Mercedes or BMW or a Porsche, what kind of dresses to wear, all sorts of things, only to abandon all these things when we reach our destination – The Grave. We don’t realize in our life’s journey that these are just burdens that we are carrying with utmost care and fear of losing them, only to find that at the end they are useless and we can’t take them with us.

Trials and Tribulations

Trials and Tribulations

We become hopeless and impatient we become when we go through difficulties in life. We put our trust in Allah but if something goes wrong and our plans do not work out, we get angry and lose faith in Allah. We say things like “oh why does it have to be me, why am I the one to suffer?”

Life is queer with its twists and turns, as everyone of us sometimes learns, and many a failure turns about, we should not give up though the race seems slow, we may succeed with another blow, success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt, and be near when it seems so far, so stick to the fight when we’re at our hardest hit, it’s when things seem worse that we must not quit.

Remember that no matter how hard life gets, no matter what we go through, no matter what happens, Allah is with us, Allah knows what we feel, the realization is so beautiful and just so comforting.

There is no greater comfort than knowing that Allah knows and understands how we feel, the struggles, the heartaches, the constrictions, the troubles, the obstacles we are facing. He is aware, He sees and hears everything. All prayers, thoughts and requests are heard, but He provides what’s best for us, and His timing is perfect. Not ours.

And Allah giving us the chance to actually realize our mistakes and gives us the opportunity to repent shows how much He loves us. Allah only challenges and tests those whom He loves the most. He tests us to make us stronger!

Allah uses problems:
1) To direct us
2) To inspect us
3) To Protect us
4) To correct us
5) To Perfect us

Allah is at work in our life, even when we do not recognize it or understand it. But it is much easier and profitable when we cooperate with Allah. We should bow down to Him and say: “Allahu Akbar.”
