The Al-Imdaad Foundation

The Al-Imdaad Foundation

Who -What is the The Al-Imdaad Foundation, “The Al-Imdaad Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian aid relief organisation (NGO) registered in the Republic of South Africa, dedicated to providing humanitarian services in crisis and non-crisis situations to most needy orphans, widows and destitute, irrespective of race, religion, culture, creed and geographical boundary.” quote taken from their website : http://www.alimdaad.com/html/Public/About.aspx

I personally know 2 of the many amazing aid -volunteers, Qari Ziyaad Patel and his wife Ayesha.

The amount of hardships and headaches they have seen, witnessed and have experienced with their team is devastating.

I ask you my dear readers, bloggers, take time , visit their website , their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ALIMDAAD

Helping and caring for the destitute should NOT be about, religion, caste, culture, it should be because, you care, you feel their pain, their loses, and never blame them for the atrocious, vile inhuman acts carried out by others.

I wish sincerely that I one day get to help, and try and ease the suffering of thousands like Qari Ziyaad Patel ,his wife Ayesha, their team, and others.

Please share this post, it’s links, let’s start something that would make a difference.

With Peace

My Proclamation To Myself…

My Proclamation To Myself…

I proclaim that today is a perfect day to claim

Custody of my life; to realize that it’s choice,

Not chance that creates fate in life.

I proclaim victory over the circumstances

Those have presented themselves in my life

And I will look for a way through,

Under, around or over the mountains

Those seem to stand in my way.

I proclaim that this day and every day

Is a blank page – a new chance to accept

What I need to and change what I can.

I proclaim that it is never too late to start over;

To call for a re-do. I can learn the lesson,

Then forgive and forget.

I proclaim that I will own my own power…

Even when it seems hopeless and there is no light

At the end of the tunnel.

I proclaim that I am perfect in my imperfection;

I will strive to quiet my mind

And forgive myself for falling short.

I proclaim that when I am frustrated,

Unfulfilled, distracted or negative

I will become a Master of Change

And select another emotional state. I choose to grow!

I proclaim that when I get to the end of my rope

I will tie a knot and hang on. I realize

If I want the rainbow, I have to put up with the rain.

I proclaim that my faith in Allah is always with me.

I proclaim to Thee Almighty I will always turn.

EID MUBARAK EID SAEED EID KAREEM

EID MUBARAK EID SAEED EID KAREEM

EID MUBARAK EID SAEED EID KAREEM

Taqabbal minna wa minkum.

One Eid the Abbasid Caliph Harûn al-Rashid donned his splendid imperial robes, mounted his horse and rode into the street. The soldiers cleared the Sultan’s path, while the people gave him an ovation, gazing admiringly at his beautifully embroidered robes. At that moment Bahlul the Wise Fool barred the Sultan’s progress, reciting some stanzas containing guidance for Harûn and, through him, for us. It was as follows:

“The Festival is not a matter of dressing up in fine new clothes.

The Festival is celebrated by serving Allah and being aware of your Lord.

To celebrate the Festival is to be Sultan of the heart, not Sultan of the realm.

Sultans of the realm pass into oblivion, but the Sultan of the heart is never forgotten.

To celebrate the Festival is to be delivered from the divine punishment at the Resurrection.

The Festival is not a matter of wearing perfumes, but of being sorry for one’s sins, repenting and not committing them again.

The Festival is not about riding on horseback, but about giving up faults.

The Festival is not about sitting on the imperial throne, but about crossing the dreadful Bridge, To sit on the thrones of Paradise.

The Festival is celebrated not by boasting of palaces and power, but by bringing the light to the darkness of the tomb and equipping it through good works.”

This brought Harûn al-Rashid to tears. It brought me to tears, will it bring you to tears as well?

EID SAEED To One And All!

All good is from Allah whereas mistakes are from this humble speck. May Allah Bless the ummah, bringing us all closer to Him and Rasulullah (SAW). May He accept our humble efforts and grant us the capacity to be good and do good. Aameen Thuma Ameen
